Exorcist: The BeginningExorcist: The Beginning (2004)

IMDB rating: 5.10

Plot: Father Lankester Merrin thinks that he has glimpsed the face of Evil. In the years following World War II, Merrin is relentlessly haunted by memories of the unspeakable brutality perpetrated against the innocent people of his parish during the War. In the wake of all the horror he has seen, both his faith in his fellow man and his faith in the Almighty have deserted him, and he can no longer honestly call himself a man of God. Merrin has traveled far from his native Holland in a desperate attempt to try to forget and escape all the evil that he had witnessed there. While currently in Cairo, Egypt, he is approached by a collector of rare antiquities and asked to participate in a British archeological excavation in the remote Turkana region of Kenya. They have unearthed something extraordinary and unusual…a Christian Byzantine church dating from the 5th century, long before Christianity arrived in East Africa, and in inexplicably perfect condition–like it had been buried immediately after it was completed. The collector wants Merrin, an Oxford-educated archeologist, to find an ancient relic hidden within the church before the British do. Interested, Merrin agrees to take the job. But beneath the church, something much older and malevolent sleeps, waiting to be awoken. When the archeologists start excavating, strange things begin occuring, and the local Turkana tribesmen who were hired to work refuse to enter the site. Things only get worse and worse, ultimately resulting in madness and death. Merrin watches helplessly as the atrocities of war are repeated against another innocent village–atrocities he had hoped and prayed never to see again. The blood of innocents flows freely on the East African plain, but the horror has only just begun. In the place where Evil was born, Merrin will finally see its true face.

What do I need to do to fix my 97 Blazer?
Okay…
I seriously need some help here.
I drive a 97 Blazer and its starting to crap out on me pretty bad. It wouldn’t start for me the other day no matter what I did so I had my friend come over and look at it… After a few too many hours of trial and error, We finally came across this post online to try some electronic cleaner in the ignition switch… Well, Eventually, It worked… Part time anyways. Before that, My gauges wouldn’t come on and neither would my dash lights. My truck would turn over but never start. Now, After spraying the key hole with the electronic cleaner and waiting a minute or two with my key turned forward, My dash lights and gauges will turn on and I can usually start my truck up.
Well, I was driving today and I was getting up to speed… Some where between 35 and 45 and all the sudden my speedometer starts climbing like crazy. It goes all the way up to 90 very fast and I pull over to the side of the road and turn my truck off for fear of it blowing up on me! The speedometer continued to climb to 100 and click and then just set there with the car off. I sat there for a minute or two once again and turned my truck back on and once it finally started up for me, The speedometer stayed at 100 for about a half mile or so before eventually returning to my true speed.
I’m beginning to think that I need to take this thing to an exorcist as opposed to a shop.
Anyone… Please please help.

The speedometer symptoms you describe is common on a lot of GM trucks and SUVs. The stepper motor driving the speedometer needle is defective. Stepper motor failure on GM vehicles has been a common problem ever since electronic speed sensors replaced cable driven speedos but it became a widespread problem on the late 1990s and early 2000s, especially the early 2000s. Because stepper motor failures on GM trucks and SUVs are so common and because it typically does not occur until after the warranty expires it spawned dozens of GM instrument cluster repair services on eBay. Here are a few of those repair services:
